Dr. Debbie Palmer will be on the radio this Thursday, January 26th to discuss "winterizing your skin"...basically, how to keep your skin looking and feeling healthy, glow-y, smooth - and safe when it's cold, dry and blustery outside.
First tip: February brings Winter Break for many of you, and if you like to ski, that means high altitude exposure for your whole family's skin, especially the little ones! It's important to teach sun protection at an early age.
Use sunscreen on the slopes (or even walking through town!). The higher altitude, the less atmosphere to absorb UV rays, the greater risk of sunburn. Be careful, but of course, have fun!
